Movements, Both Bowel and Otherwise Five weeks until graduation and I’m feeling a little on the Crohn’s Disease side of life. After calling my lovely GI, Dr. L, yesterday morning in a frenzy, he assured me that we’d both survive these next few weeks come hell or high water. Then he upped my medication and told me to call him in two weeks. At least we have our priorities straight....

Hulk Sleepy and Technologically Challenged Remember when I promised you loads of photographs and videos followed by witty commentary? Well, my laptop took a turn for the worse this past week and needed to have its screen replaced. Seeing as I would rather spend $500 buying my body weight in Easter candy, I opted for a used external monitor that takes up my entire desk and shares my birth year. On...

Northern Exposure Tomorrow evening I fly to Seattle for spring break. I know you were expecting Cabo, but hold your horses. Seattle is the new Mexico. Part of my big week in the city will be meeting D’s parents for the first time. I have never before in my post-high school life had to meet a significant other’s parents. Judy Chicago, Eat Your Heart Out The above photo was taken while Ms. Deatly-Peluso’s sweatpants looked a little out of the ordinary. Proof that Haven-Wesley is committed to the arts as well our feminist roots, or perhaps just fodder for College Humor.

Deafening Me with Science I had a large entry planned, filled with progressive collegiate ideals and vintage musings on marriage, but I suddenly found myself busy with lots of things. Things like work! And meetings! And lectures! Lots of them! All at once! So here is a small entry, just so you don’t start thinking that I forgot about you. I have a few big things planned for the near future...
