I came across this quote last night as I was dozing off while browsing through Tropic of Cancer. I think it speaks well to our general obsession with personal history and the downfall of many blogs. Ralph was a true trend spotter.

Side note: As I do not have a copy of the text at work, I used Amazon’s Seach Inside function to locate the quote. It was fairly painless, but could have been less cluttered.
