I often peruse The Pioneer Woman Cooks for recipe inspiration when I’m looking to cook something classic and tasty with little concern for the arteries of my loved ones. Her dishes are always adaptable and have never steered me wrong.

In addition to the delectable eats, I find myself absolutely head over heels in love with her food photography. Seriously, the woman can make a can of SPAM look like Iberico ham.

Today, when trying to come up with picnic ideas I stumbled upon her recipe for the Sleepin’ In Omelette (click the photo for more). As a fan of completely impractical housewares (see the hand painted Seven Deadly Sins china hanging above my kitchen doorway), the idea of possessing these measuring spoons makes me absolutely giddy.

Flag Day is just around the corner. Perhaps Uncle Sam will deliver.

Update: Of course, I just found them online at Space Savers for $3.99. I am a modern woman who is capable of purchasing her own Smidgen, Dash, Pinch measuring spoons.
