I Am Fatigued and Wish to Return to My Abode

I speak for anyone who’s thoughts have ever wandered to the PowerPoint deck they are editing at work whilst in the heat of passion or the wee hours of the morning when I say that I am tired.

When I close my eyes I see my cursor moving towards Insert, Picture, From File over and over again. This aught to be my mantra.

One day while in line at Safeway I will be shocked awake by my own reply of “Insert! Picture! From File!” when the checker asks me if I’m paying with debit or credit.

Perhaps I am not getting enough iron. Actually, scratch that. I know that I am not getting enough iron. It’s just that those supplements make my stomach feel as if I am digesting a bucket of nails. Short of devouring a live water buffalo (protein!) I’m not sure how to kick this lethargy. The chilly Spring Part Deux that is currently plaguing the Northwest isn’t exactly helping.

Bring on summer. I want to nap in the sun.
